Did you know that each Wiven character has variation within their text? Dane Always Has Capitalized Words And Exclamation Points! askel speaks in all lowercase and mostly periods. Bam's accent can be sloightly relfected en his text! w3arth spe4ks with poor grammar and in EXAGGERATED wayz, often rezembling the linguistics of an 2008 r0bl0x player!1!; and so on!
another fun fact, did you know that Bam was originally meant to be Swedish? And Bon was supposed to be Norwegian? Yeah that got scrapped early on, but some bits of it still have a place within their characters. It was mostly changed due to... well, you cant really grow bananas that far north can you? (atleast not efficiently LOL). So I went with a more southern accent, similar to that of the US South.
This and similar changes were made to further seperate the world of Wiven from the chaotic realness of the real world. I wanted these characters to be flexible with how you percieve and relate to them. So if you headcanon that Askel is russian or something, there wouldn't be any direct canonical reasoning to say that he wasn't! The same goes for shipping.
I hope to keep romance and other relations out of canonical Wiven, so people can imagine and introduce their own ideas as to how the characters see and feel about eachother. So let's say you see Bon and Wearth as a couple with Bam as their 'child', that would be something you could realistically have fun with! Same goes for if you see all three of them as best friends and only! Some people could see them as siblings, some as cousins, etc! The world of Wiven is meant to be open to interpretation and headcanoning, so people can find comfort and solace within the project in their own ways. While I understand that this could be risky, I would also like to have it like this so I could interpret it however I'd like, without it being directly canon. Wiven is a growing world, and I would like to be able to make changes easily and quick to get it ready for the future! Just in case, y'know?
