Wygd is by far the most notable province of Wiven, hosting multiple events and is also the most populated. Wygd appears the most within the Wiven games amongst any pther province. Wygd is located within the southern half of Wastningen, and extends up north to about halfway up the continent. It is one of the largest provinces of Wiven. Bordering Wat-Ure to the west, Weo to the east, Laillt to the northeast, and Wistad + Wky to the north, Wygd has a total of 5 neighbors.
The geography of Wygd is very diverse and vast, mostly comprised of rolling hills, plains, and a few mountain ranges. Wygd's borders are comprised of mostly water boundries; having an ocean to the south, rivers defining its western edge, and drawing lines between occasional lakes found up north, help define its territory. Wygd contains a few disticnt biomes within its borders. Such as 2 rainforests, vast plains, savannahs which hold desert and shrubland, and the occasional forest and coastal marshland.
There are a few major geographic features, such as Lake Wygd, the official Wiven Wonder. This lake is accompanied by many other substantially sized bodies of water. The area around the south and west of Wygd are very humid and wet, leading the growth of 2 well known rainforests, named SuuriFor and PieniFor. SuuriFor is the larger of the two, spanning 2 provinces total. In the center~west part of Wygd, there is a vast savannah. This savannah is not nearly as humid as the surrounding areas, thus leading to inner parts taking on more of a dryer and dryer climate as you go deeper into the biome. There is also a major community of coral reefs to the south of Wygd, showing immense diversity in its wildlife and habitats.
A lot goes on in the province of Wygd, despite its low population density, its still high in population numbers! This has lead to quite the productive province!
Due to its mostly warmer climate and higher population, Wygd has a very alive and party like style of living. It is a very social province filled to the brim with activities to do and people to meet and see! Many of the weevs here usually only wear a body piece without sleeves, and often have more vibrant colors. The architecture is often also bright due to the various flower species present in the region that allow for a rather wide range of pungent dyes and paints.
Wygd holds a huge tourism economy alongside a large agricultural sector. Bananas are their number one export alongside lumber! Its one of the more export heavy and self sustaining provinces amongst the continent, and its vast swaths of land could allow for near exponential growth if desired.
